Mermay Day 11 Colored: Stretch

I was hoping to have all my mermay sketches colored by the end of the year but it looks like that won't be happening. Hopefully they'll all be done by next May though:)

I've reached day 11 and if you've seen the original sketch you'll know that I changed her pose and the background a bit. What works for a sketch doesn't always work when it's colored so I had to make a few adjustments and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Next up is the Mother's Day illustration:)

Other than coloring my Mermay sketches I'm also working on a new series of illustrations that I'll reveal in January so stay tuned.
